Career profile
AFL career: 1995–2014
Aaron Garcia built one of arena football’s most productive quarterback careers through precision, anticipation, and the ability to keep an offense moving. After making his AFL debut in 1995, he became a defining player for the Iowa Barnstormers and New York Dragons before adding a championship chapter with the Jacksonville Sharks.
Garcia earned First Team All-Arena recognition in 2000, 2001, and 2011, along with Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2001 and 2011. His Jacksonville tenure culminated in the Sharks’ first ArenaBowl championship in 2011, when he also received ArenaBowl XXIV Most Valuable Player honors.
He finished his AFL playing career in 2014 with 62,159 passing yards and 1,336 touchdown passes. Those career totals, alongside his sustained excellence across different franchises, made Garcia a standard for quarterbacks in the indoor game. His IAN Hall Of Fame profile recognizes both the production and the championship leadership behind it.
